Fifty-four visual art scholars were selected to present their works of art at the Art Supervisors Association Annual All-County Exhibit, held at Herricks High School on March 9th. The exhibit featured more than 2000 works of art from students throughout Nassau County.
Uniondale hosted the Long Island String Festival Association on February 28th. It featured more than 400 String orchestra students from various School districts in Nassau County. Nine Uniondale music scholars were chosen to represent our district based upon their musical achievement.
The Nassau Music Educators Association hosted its Annual All-County Music Festival featuring choral, band and orchestra students from grades 5-12. This year, Uniondale sent 45 music scholars, based on their teacher's recommendation and their New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) adjudication scores.
